Payroll Sales Representative 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying, soliciting and closing new business for the company; secondary responsibility includes the retention of existing clients in collaboration with client service tea
  • Achieve annual new revenue objectives through consultative sales to new clients and expansion of service lines to existing clients
  • Develop a Personal Development Plan annually, outlining personal and professional goals for the upcoming yea
  • Build an active pipeline of qualified prospects, generating leads from personal contacts, external centers of influence, client referrals, CBIZ associates and CBIZ marketing sources
  • Document activity, notes and prospect data in appropriate CBIZ systems
  • Develop and present recommendations to clients based upon consultative selling approac

Requirements:

New Account Payroll Specialist 

Job Purpose / Objective

  • To assist internal and external clients with questions and needs, and ensure the department goals are met through teamwork and collaboration

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Primary contact for new clients during the Implementation process & 1st “live” payroll process.
  • Liaison between sales and new clients to gather all appropriate setup information.
  • Read and extract necessary information from clients’ previous payroll provider’s reports.
  • Keying and/or importing employee data up to and including:
    • Direct deposit information
    • Recurring deductions
    • Accrual balances & benefits
    • Organizing & balancing employee year-to-date pay history/tax liabilities.
  • Reviewing client provided reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Creating an accrual policy within payroll software based on employee’s handbook.
  • Creating a general ledger based on clients chart of accounts and requested file layout.
  • Creating basic reports using payroll software’s Report Writer module.
  • Working with the IT department on complex report requests from clients.
  • Provide payroll training for new clients via web connection.
  • Assist internal and external clients with requests and problems in timely manner
  • Notify necessary parties ensuring accuracy of appropriate data
  • Research and accurately resolve clients’ service needs according to established commitments

  • Work to understand department processes, procedures, and/or programs
  • Assist with new hire training and ongoing internal training as needed

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • High School Education of GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in a payroll environment with emphasis on processing payroll using computer software
  • Knowledge of Excel functions to manipulate data into a usable format
  • Computer skills to work in Windows-based payroll software and proficient use of applicable technology
  • Knowledge of the following: pre-tax deductions, garnishments, payroll taxes & taxable wage base limits
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Excellent customer relation skills
  • Attain Payroll, COBRA, Section 125 and other applicable certifications required within 18 months of accepting position, must comply with eligibility requirements prior to taking exam
  • Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish tasks as well as independently
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and pay close attention to detail on many, varied tasks with high accuracy rate

Accounting Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily cash reconciliations for multiple bank accounts, ensuring the integrity of client fund balances
  • Apply cash payments to invoices
  • Generate vendor payments
  • Create sub ledger journal entries as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients through both phone and email support channels. Receive inbound calls and make outbound calls as necessary.
  • Using import templates, perform non-payroll data uploads into ACA tabs on Millinieum3 software.
  • Set up automatic reports and create custom reports as necessary.
  • Answer general inquiries from clients concerning ACA Legislation and report analytics. Provide guidance on data maintenance tasks.
  • Use data queries to perform weekly and monthly data audits of all clients enrolled in ACA service.  Analyze reports and work with client to correct any discrepancies.
  • Thoroughly maintain sensitive client data in excel spreadsheets. Track process steps and auditing tasks using excel spreadsheets.
  • Create and use email templates and other client communications as necessary.
  • Assist the ACA Department in meeting project deadlines and adhere to deadlines set by the Internal Revenue Service and other federal government agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:
